Oh, I've posted in SOTD before plenty of times, this is just the first day I've managed to get a photo up.

Still, it's a winter wonderland out there this morning and tempted not to go to work, but will at least try.

Just a steaming-hot shower for me today. The face rests and will be shaved again on Sunday. Good weekend all!

Yes, The razor has handles custom made by Robert Williams of Russian mammoth ivory which is a minimum of 20,000 years old. And it's a great shaver too.

    Default Thursday night

Sountrack - Zeppelin Houses of the Holy
    Prep - hot water/washcloth
    Strop - VB 2" web/latigo 100/100
    Brush - WS boar
    Cream - COB and glycerin
    Razor - Wapi
AS - Aqua Velva (I can't figure out what my wife hates about it so much)
    ASB - Nivea Extreme
Post Shave Drink - Heineken (well, actually, two Heinekens...and some cheese...and pretzels...and a couple of cookies)

Time to send the razors out for honing...missed my chance before traveling early next week - I'll have to wait until after Christmas. On the other hand, my wife and I bought a Dovo for my brother for Christmas...maybe I'll borrow his once or twice while we're up in Canada...

Figured I'd kick it old school.

    Prep:Hot shower/Noxema
Brush:My grandfathers well broken in boar.
Razor: Great grandfathers unrestored dubl duck satin wedge
Soap: Williams old formula(pre 1970) left over from my other grandfathers stash.(also his old spice mug)
    A/S: Masters bay rum

Result: awesome shave, I'll be so sad when this puck of Williams is gone.
