    Default Sunday night

Sountrack - the Bach Sonatas/Partitas for Solo Violin (Henryk Szeryng)
Prep - hot water Proraso Pre/Post
    Brush - Tweezerman
    Strop - SRD 2'' web/latigo
Cream - Nivea for Men (it's ok - about the same as the Speik in terms of cushion/lather/moisture/etc...When I'm home in Canada it's on every drug store shelf so I picked up a few tubes at Christmas. I was also surprised that the whole Proraso line was available at every drug store in Toronto...needless to say, I packed a load of it in the suitcase for the return trip state-side!)
    Razor - 13/16 Bengall wedge/spike
    AS - Aqua Velva
    ASB - Nivea Extreme
Post Shave Drink - Boddington's Pub Ale (pint can)
Not-So-Manly Post Shave Activity - watched Emma on PBS with my wife. What I can't understand is that they have nothing to do all day but sit in drawing rooms, plotting/scheming/gossiping, but they dress up to do it...if I had no place to go all day, I wouldn't get out of my pyjamas...

    Have a great morning!

    Default First GREAT shave

Been shaving for about a month with a straight. Bought too many razors, like all of us. But yesterday was my first GREAT shave. Why?
    - BBS, even my chin that I have struggled with :-)
    - With a razor i bought for next to nothing and restored (Salzman 5/8)
    - No nicks (haven't had any in awhile)
    - relaxed and "in the groove"

Thanks for all your help and posts that have helped me learn....

    Jon
