    Cool Tues-Jan 26 Shave

Prep>>Hot shower then Proraso preshave cream..first pass and second pass hot water rinse in between them. Relather for last pass then cold water rinse.
Razor>>Boker Edelweisse 5/8 this puppy is sharp!
Brush>>SRD Silver Tip shaving brush #3. This is indeed an overstuffed brush. The loft is impressive surpassing that of the Omega.
    Cream>>Speick in red tube
    Astringent>>Thayers Lemon
    AS>>Musgo Real Classic.

Footnotes>> A very relaxing shave...took my time to shave well and retouched those areas and got rid of the "stubborn-stubble".

    Default Second Lap

CV Heljestrand MK No 32 "Eskilstunaboden"
    Semogue 2009 LE #28
    Origins Easy Slider
    Yardley Shaving Soap
    Thayer's Witch Hazel w/ Aloe
    L'Occitane Cade Balm

same setup as last shave, much improved. Erased the bevel on glass, taped the spine and took it through the progression. Finished with 100+ laps on newspaper. I'd say the bevel is damn close to perfect but with plenty of room for improvement. Very close and comfortable!
I even shaved the back of my neck with it, a first for me.

    this evening:

7/8 Wade & Butcher "Barbers Rattler"
    loom strop
    body works synthetic brush
    Mitchell Wool Fat soap
    Alum block
    Masters Bay Rum a/s

3 passes, bbs. This was the first time I'd tried MWF and found that the scent was much better than I'd heard described, it lathered quite well, and it left my face feeling quite nice. It could quickly become a favorite soap.
