Setup I have used the last two days. I have to get a razor in the mail to be honed. Has been nice, though, revisiting the DE. Even the shaves I have been getting with a straight with a sub par edge must have added to my technique and prep. 'Cause the DE shaves now are better than before.

Default Midnight, Friday 29, January 2010.

    Location: Taipei 105, Taiwan

Razor: A.J. Henckels #70½, 5/8 wide with simulated celluloid handles
Brush: Geo F. Trumper Super Badger Ivory Handle
    Soap: Knize Ten
Aftershave: Taylor’s Sandalwood Luxury Aftershave Gel
Soundtrack: Miles Davis ‘A Kind of Blue’
Result: This is my first SOTD and I’ve only been straight shaving for about a month so the reason this wasn’t an extremely close shave is because of technique more than anything else. I’m very happy I could contribute; I love this thread and all the beautiful photos.
