Razor: Iwasaki size 1
Brush: Simpson t4
Pre-shave: Pinaud Clubman Bay Rum
Lather: 50/50 ~ Lea/C.O. Bigelow
Aftershave: Cap't Smith's Lime Bay Rum
My second shave with Robeson's Guide Bay Rum technique and I do enjoy the warming effect from the first application of bay rum during the shave. One thing I did learn from this technique: Sometimes if you put away an aftershave that you don't initially like, and try it a couple of months later(6 months in my case), you might 'grow' to like it. I absolutely disliked the fragrance of Clubman BR, but six months later I really like the smell.Last edited by BDom; 01-28-2010 at 04:18 AM.

Fin ~ After only a single pass with my old fave DE the day before yesterday, I want to swear that this is the most enjoyable nick-free pleasurable and satisfying and comfortable shave that I can remember.

I am starting to really like this razor. The soap is not really bad, either...SOTD Items Details Pre shave Castle Forbes "The Pre Shave" Soap/Cream SRD "Lavender" Shaving Soap Razor http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...eld-7-8-a.html (review) Post shave Alum Bar After shave balm Castle Forbes "Lavender" Perfume Washington Tremlett "mp/h" Setup
