Soap: MWFS in ceramic container a gift from Mrs. Hog.
    Brush:Omega hog hair. Professional model

This was a fantastic shave! I picked up the razor at an antique shop for a story told to the owner of how I planned to use it. He could not believe that people still used these old razors.

Now, I was excited tonight and started honing this razor on my Barber's hone for 30 laps, then 6 laps on crox balsa strop and it popped hairs on my arm beautifully. 20 more laps on Barber's hone and 35 laps on white Barber's hone (maybe an Arkansas?) and it passed the hair test.

I was really excited now and prepped for the shave. I was shaving away and having so much fun that I shaved my goatee. Then, after I was almost finished, I realized, I had forgotten to strop the razor. I had never shaved right off of the stone or hone but this was a great feeling shave.

I really like this razor, I just wish it didn't have the pitting it has, but at least it is over a quarter of an inch up from the edge.
