    So, I got my restored Wade and Butcher back from Max on Saturday and had a great shave on sunday....sorry to post so late on monday, I was busy rubbing my smooth face and drinking port after the great shave! I went Portuguese today as you can see. Carlo

    After a long hot shower, first time using my new Bartmann: Best Shave Ever up untill now...WTG and ATG, even my upper lip went smoothly...this was a good find on Ebay

    Brush: Rooney Style 3 Size 1 (Small) faux Tortoise
    SS/SC: Erasmic + Ingram + 3-4 drops glycerin = Uberlather
    Razor: 5/8” Bismark “Barber’s Special”
    Astringent: Alum block
    ASB: Nivea for Men "Extreme Comfort"
    AS: Irisch Moos

    Recipe for a great shave:

    Take one Vintage Fritz Bracht #24 Dovo newly restored
    add 50 laps on webbing and 100 laps on the supple leather of an SRD Premium 1
    Wisk together some Bulgarian Rose soap with a Col.Conk Pure Badger brush until creamy...
    Spead this mixture thicky upon face, wait for the beard to rise
    Then remove un-wanted hair in one smooth pass...
    Clean up with some ice cold water and McLas Mentholated Bay Rum....

    Can you say Yea Baby !!!!
