- STROPS: Illinois 827, Dovo "3 finish leather. Passes 35 linen, 50 leather, 35 finish leather.
- PRE-SHAVE PREP: Hot shower, hot towel, pre-shave oil, lather, hot towel, re-lather, shave.
- PRE-SHAVE OIL: Glycerin. {Not pictured}
- SS: Tabac.
- SC: TOBS- Mr. Taylor's.
- GLYCERIN: 6 drops = Uber-lather.
- BRUSH: C-M Pewter Super Silver Tip.
- RAZORS: GEORGE WOSTENHOLM I-XL 5/8 Spike point. ~ {Test shave}. Back up razor, WADE & BUTCHER 5/8 barbers notch. WTG, XTG, ATG passes.
- POST SHAVE TREATMENT: Hot towel, cwr, astringent, a/s gel, edt.
- ASTRINGENT: Thayers Witch Hazel Original w/ aloe white label {Not pictured}.
- A/S GEL: TOBS Mr. Taylor's.
- EDT: TOBS Mr. Taylor's.
- RESULT: Totally awesome shave! BBS shave at that. Thank you Dan, my friend, who gave me this razor for free! I cleaned buffed, polished, and honed this razor myself. I'm proud. It shaves great!

Cream: Dreamsicle by CarrieM (A custom blend of vanilla and orange, by request. A little tricky to figure out -for me- but an absolutely dynamite cream)
Razor: My first, the Dovo 5/8 that, to this day, serves me with flying colors
Strop: SRD's Modular Paddle. King of the Strops, 20 on raw Felt, 20 on Scrub Leather, 25 on Bridle and 25 on Premium I
ASB: Nivea for Men Replenishing (works great!)
Music: A playlist of Mozart including Camina Burtana, Symphony 41 'Jupiter', and Marriage of Figaro, among others
Results: BBS And relaxing. Supreme comfort after an excellent day of success! I should have set classic shaving to Classical music a LOOOONG time ago

Post Shave Relaxing Drink: Singleton 12 single malt scotch whisky (exceptional scotch that I really like) Nose: Toffee, roasted nut and spice aromas, scented leather, sandalwood and vanilla Palate: Fresh, spicy then soft and pleasantly sweet throughout. Fruity with citrus and raisins then vanilla and honey with a trace of wood. Body: Light to medium Finish: Creamy smooth and slightly drying with a long peppery fade.

Result: The Shave Gods smiled upon me. I have my first rehearsal with the New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra tomorrow night, so I went with the best. However I'm pretty sure the hairline on my neck is now crooked as all hell.
