I shave with both hands so I don't find it an issue at all, and I doubt you would either. Large portions of my face are handled just fine with straight ahead blades but my technique leaves some spots wanting, such as along my adams apple and under my chin. With such a small blade and such a nice smile to it, it almost felt like cheating, it was so easy. I felt like I could control it and go anywhere i wanted, any direction, any angle, it was great. I now know what the big deal is with smiling blades
Stropping was also much easier than I anticipated. NO boomerang action
