    Cool Tuesday Shave

Prep: Just a hot shower followed by Proraso preshave cream
Razor Prep: 30/30 on fabric and red latigo
    Razor: Wacker Jungmeister 7/8
SC: Erasmic mixed in SRD scuddle
    Brush:SRD Silver Tip Badger brush # 3
    Thayers Lemon
    AS: Dominica Bay Rum

I have included with the pic two price lists from 1957 and 1962 which were displayed in New Jersey barbershops. Compare the price of a shave how it had increased in just five years. Hourly wages in 1957 were $1.00 and in 1962 $1.25. I guess is just the accountant in me. SHAVE ON.

Can't find many Barbers that will even offer a Barbershop Shave nowadays! If you can find one, they are around $100.! LOL

Very true...not too long ago I visited an AOS establishment that had an in house barber, and the starting price for a shave (no hot towel) was $50. The full treatment was $80.

Nice photo. Excellent price lists, if only the barbers now would offer a straight shave.

    HOG,

Thanks but I would rather spend the money on a razor from the classifieds and use it way more than 1 shave.
