I rarely use the same razor two days in a row, but this one was close to being perfect yesterday. A few laps on the pasted balsa strop and then 50 laps each on SRD cotton herringbone, webbed fabric, English Bridle & finally, Premium I leather, and the shave this morning was fantastic.
Awesome razor Chris! I want to get some Swedish Steel in my rotation and those Heljestrand's are excellent shavers. Probably my next target razor. The scales and brush match perfectly BTW!

Thanks!! I picked up a second Friodur off the 'Bay and sent it to Glen for new scales. This one is slightly different from the other Henckels I have in that it's a square point while the other has a Spanish point.

Here's it is with the old scales..

    Razor: 5/8 Tiger Wedge
    Shaving Cream: Salter Wild Rose
    Lather Bowl: Ceramic
    Brush: Custom Rosewood Silvertip
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
    Aftershave: No. 4711

First shave with the Tiger Wedge since its rework. Awesome!
Glen, you are a Master Craftsman! Outstanding work Sir! The Tiger has never had such a keen edge and it shaved as smooth as butter. The new scales are beautiful and the blade is brilliant! Well done! I will show the before and after shots. (Sorry for such a crappy photo today. I was running late and couldn't get the lighting right.)

Golden Nib 24mm Extra Hair Finest Badger

Made this brush over the weekend with my brother in law. He showed me how to use his lathe and I think he was having so much fun that he ended up turning this brush almost to completion.
