Kell's original Pre Shave Soap
Semogue #830 Boar
Mitchell's Wool Fat
Geneva Cutlery Ontario
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Pinaud's Lime Sec AS
Today's shave was a bit late because I wanted to get the new (to me) Geneva Ontario Honed and ready for today's shave. The edge required a bit more work than I thought to get back to good steel, but it was well worth the effort, and I was rewarded with an awesome shave!
I'd dearly love to meet the man who would not enjoy starting the day with Mitchell's Wool Fat! As soon as my wet brush hits the puck, the subtle aroma starts to rise, and i knoe everything will be fine...
A great way to start the weekend!

Razor: 11/16 Geo. Wostenholm Pipe Razor Half Hollow Spike Point
Soap/Mug: Tabac
Scuttle RAB Ceramic
Brush: Medium Badger
ASB: Nivea Replenishing
Aftershave: Aqua Velva Musk
Great razor and wonderful shave!I'm really lovin' these Wosties!
The blades take a wicked edge and shave clean and smooth. This one doesn't have a place or country stamped on it, only the Geo. Wostenholm & Sons trade mark. (the & Sons stamp under the Geo. Wostenholm has been added at a later date probably after the Sons joined the company) Not sure of the age but probably just after this company started selling in America around 1836 - 1847 during the Rockingham Works era. After 1847 they started their Washington Works in Sheffield and noted that on their razors. At any rate, this is a great razor! I need to replace the Buffalo Horn scales however, these have seen their better days.
Have a great weekend Gentlemen and thanks for sharing the fine photos!
