The scales on that Robert Williams are outstanding. What are they made of?

    Default Thursday Evening Shave

    Thursday evening: Houston, Texas
Razor: George Johan 6/8 Spike Point
    Strop: Straight Razor Designs
    Brush: AOS Pure Badger
    S/S: MWF
    S/C: Proraso
    Astringent: Dickenson's Witch Hazel
    A/S: Proraso
Wine and Cigar: Optional but highly recommended.

After viewing the awesome razors you gentlemen regularly display in this thread, I thought "Green" would be an appropriate theme for my first SOTD post, so I went with Proraso. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Welcome from another SOTD newbie! Nice setup! I had a very nice cigar yesterday, a Juan Lopez no 2, nicely matured and lovely flavours combained with a good complexity. Cheers

    Default Friday morning

    Pre: Hot shower
Razor: Friodur 8/8 with cracked ice scales
Brush: Two banded finest 24 mm custom
    Soap: Nannys Juniper
    Astringment: Alum
    Post: Proraso
    AS: Lacoste Challenge
Result: Very nice! I love this soft soap, made by nanny Sharon in England (small manufacturer), I´ll only ordering from her from now and eventully only have nanny soaps and Cella. The rest´ll have to go. Maybe the odd high end soap, but that´s it. She only uses the very best ingredients... and no, you can´t have the the addy
Of course soaps are personal, but this one fits me soo good.
