If I May Jeltz?
If I may Sir?
IMHO this video by Jockys is without a doubt the best I have seen, I do a very very similar series of passes myself, and it works well for me
Kindest Regards

Indeed its one (err two) of the videos I've watched several times, very useful thank you.
Wednesday night
Razors: Special USA 5/8 round point followed by Gillette slim twist with Gillette Bleue Extra blade.
Soap: Palmolive
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar
Post shave: Alum rub, witch hazel splash, Gillette ASB, Aquatonic AS
13th str8 shave, not as "in depth" as last night but great practice. Cleaned up nicely with the Gillette slim twist and Bleue Extra blade, after yesterday and today's attempts with the str8 my skin was a bit more tender than normal so I added witch hazel to my normal post shave routine.

Today was a shave a la HeirKB - testing out some razors he was kind enough to lend me to play with. He also sent some gratis Lucido aftershaves - I don't remember what they are called... the clear, mentholated splash and the white balm. I decided to go for a Mint Madness shave with my old friend Proraso.
Strop dem blades on my TM apprentice/travel/whatever
Soaked my Semogue 730 in my SRD mixing bowl while taking the SOTD photo
Whipped up some Proraso lather
Shave order matches photo from left to right:
H Diamond, Hayashi frameback, Puma 89, Puma 5 6/8, Tennis 80, TI 69 Frameback
Hot towel scrub
Hot towel wipe down
Lucido splash (I love it - the menthol is awesome, so cold!)
Clean brush & bowl
Lucido balm (Hate the smell - it's chemically - but it feel nice, we'll see what my face says tomorrow)

Wednesday's shave:
Hot shower
Kent BK2 grey Badger
Kent's Luxurious Shaving Soap
5/8" Berkshire Cutlery Co. 3/8 hollow
Alum Block followed by Patyka Organic Face Toner with Witch hazel and Spearmint
Today's (Thursday) shave was essentially the same but with a different blade.
Have a great day ahead everyone!
