Razor: Soligen 6/8 - one of 6 surviving blades of a 7-day set
    Brush: Rooney 1/1 Finest
    Soap: Cella
AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue followed by TSD Iced Sensitive Milk
    Edt: Trumper Spanish Leather

The razor is part of a 7-day set I picked up from Muirtach. The box is marked Souvenir of Soligen. The blade is marked Prima Soligen. The tang is marked EEMOS. This is the first of the 6 I have tried, but hopefully all will shave this good. Thanks to Muirtach for his work on restoring and honing the set.

    Soap: Conk Almond
    Razor: Dovo "Best Quality" 5/8
    AS: Old Spice

I found this old wash stand at an antique store for cheap and hd to have it. Finally got up the courage today to use it. Wow! Now that's how you're supposed to shave! I've got to get more light around it, but other than that, this was an awesome experience.

    Lu,

Thanks a lot for the compliment. She is a real beauty--blade and all--and shaves like a dream. The razor is a Maximilian NOS creation. The scales are Paua shell. I got it from one of my favorite vendors who advertises here at SRP and offers vintage razors for sale.

There is a funny story connected with the razor. I bought it late one Saturday night after seeing its photo on the vendor's website. The following Monday he sent me an email to apologize for not being able to ship it to me immediately. It seems that I purchased the razor before it had arrived from Max and been placed in the vendor's inventory.
