Yes, I see , lol. Can be a bit tight under the old honker . They´re nice shavers in general though, E A Bergs. Thank you for sharing! Mikael

Result: CCS = Crazy Close Shave on face - wtg + atg, head was a ok.

I was going to try and race a Helje 32 against a 31, but it wasn´t a fair race - Helje 32 lost by a hair due to a slightly bad edge, she lost the edge to fast. The 31 sliced gently through the stubble on the left side of the face. Overall a nice shave today, even though I had to work some to get the head clean enough.
Three razors for one shave?? Wow. You must have a hell of a beard!

Welcome from another newbie SOTD:er . Nice setup and nice bike!Thank you for sharing! I´m on a quest to reduce my soaps and be more spartan in soaps, but it´s a bit tempting to see your stuff, it seems to be a very nice summer set up you have there *thumbs up*

Yes, it´s hell, I tell you . No, I wanted to try the Heljes against each other and see how they performed, edge wise. And I usually use another one if I shave my head at the same time, like this morning. So ... I really only used two

Aura Glow as a Pre Shave Oil
    MEM w/ Olive Oil SC
    Vulfix 660 Badger
    Krusius Bros. KB Extra 67
    TM Heirloom Strop 30 Linen/ 60 Leather
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Aqua Velva Musk

I just honed this KB Extra yesterday, because I had thoughts of re-scaling it. That may happen at some point in the future, but for now, she's a shaver.
The razor itself was in great condition. I reshaped the scales a bit because of some flaws, but the edge looked like a wood saw under a 10X loupe.
I spent at least an hour getting the edge back, but one mis-stroke finishing on 12K sent me back to 5K to start fresh. It was all worth it!
She is now super sharp, and just maybe the smoothest blade of the bunch..
I don't know if I deserve a pat on the back for my improving honing skills, or I just ran into a great piece of steel, but it provides a great shave!!
