I remember looking out the window one morning after a bad hurricane and seeing folks going down Woodcleft Avenue in boats... Not really surprising, as we were right on the canal across from Guy Lombardo.

    Small world...

Great pic, BTW, and once again.. Welcome!
I actually live on Miller, two blocks over from Woodcleft! Can't say I know of the "Poop Deck." The restaurants/bars turnover quite frequently I think. Very small world....and thanks!

    SOTD Wednesday June 16, 2010

Razor: 11/16 Robert Klaas Prussia Spike Point
    Soap: VDH/Old Spice Classic
    Mug: Vintage Old Spice
    Scuttle: RAB Ceramic
    Brush: Omega Boar
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
    Aftershave/Cologne: Old Spice Classic Cologne

Not the greatest Shave I've had but, I still enjoyed the experience.
Just can't seem to get the edge right on this Klaas Prussian. I have been working on it and it's getting better but I need to go to a heavier grit hone which I don't have to re-set a good bevel. I'm not giving up yet. Adapt, improvise, overcome! Don't mean to be a buzzkill.
Great shave kits presented by all this morning Gentlemen!

Who me??? Nahhh, I just borrowed for this posting only Bruce. BTW...nice razor. I had a similar experience honing a Boker Edelweiss but did not give up, and today it is an outstanding shaver. HOG

Just worked the Klaas over on the Austrian hone with some aggressive circular moves and pressure. Got some heavier slurry grit going and then stropped 50-60 on Linen and about 60 on the Leather. That seemed to feel a bit keener so might have to try that blade again tomarrow to check it out. I'm hoping this Prussia blade is like your Edekweiss Hog and work out to be a good shaver. It may be the steel is pretty hard and usually when you get a good edge on them they stay sharp. About the Mantra; it's a good one for all of us to use and your welcome to use it anytime Brother!

Today's shave was the first time I've had to mow down more than a day's growth in 7 weeks, and it felt great!
A great prelude to going out and breaking a few (hopefully more than a few) clat targets...

    Great photo BlacknTan,

What clay game did you enjoy. We used to compete in Sporting Clays a few years back. Hope you hit them all!
