Wow, what a ride! This was my first experience with a blade wider than 5/8". I love the way the wide blade handled. The added width also kept my hands and the hinge of the razor out of the lather in my goatee. Maybe it's the "heft" of this razor, but this baby felt steadier in my hand than other razors.

Great razor Tim, beautiful scales Alex! Special thanks go to my gracious friend for loaning this incredible work of art to me!
    Greg,

    Beautiful razor...Beautiful blade.

    Jerry,

    Nice razor...Nice photo.

Are you a sculptor? An art collector? That motorcycle featured in the background of your SOTD photos is an eye-catching piece of artwork.

    Hi Jhenry, thanks a lot.

I am not a sculptor or art collector. I bought this sculptur of a friend (he is the sculptor). I liked it because I love H.D. motorcycles and I have a restored one (1941), with side car and reverse gear.

I'm not sure I can count that high, much less strop that many times. I think if I tried to do that, the rhythmic sound of the razor on the strop would put me right to sleep.
