You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Friday morning
Pre: Cold shower
Razor: Heljestrand 9 1/2
Brush: 22 mm two banded finest
Soap: Nannys Citrus Zinger
Post: Proraso
AS: Old Spice Fresh Lime
Result: Ok
I love this razor, lovely new made purpleheart wood scales by Neil Miller and one heavy piece of Swedish steel. Unfortunatly I was a bit stressed out this morning and I didn´t get the best out of this shave, ok and clean enough but nothing extra. Love the OS fresh lime, skin sucks it right in and you can really feel how good it isLast edited by Mikael; 07-16-2010 at 07:00 PM.

Thanked: 530Best shave of my life
By a long shot.
Razor: The waiting has paid off, and my first rescale (but assuredly not my last) by Max has returned to me. Rescaled in S-shaped Blue Paua Shell, with an inlay transfer, The WorldMaster 194 is one of the smoothest shavers to ever touch my face. I'm sure some of you know how much I like my wedge blades... I have trouble keeping anything more than half hollow (and most half hollows, for that matter!) And yet, this fully hollow WorldMaster is in a tier of its own. It was given to me by my girlfriend's father in excellent condition under the rust (purely surface rust, no pitting) but with broken scales... Lynn used it to teach me to buff (and did a fantastic job) and then it went off to Max... His work is simply sublime. The shave off this blade is as nice as the scales! Absolutely outstanding.
Brush: Brand new H. L. Thater, 24mm in plexiglass handle... It feels smaller than 24mm, but that's because the knot is so tightly packed, and the handle is fairly small... However, the ergonomics are spot on, and the bristles are out of this world. Super soft tips, with amazing backbone... I used it to facelather with fantastic results.
Cream: An old favorite, CarrieM's Black Raspberry. I think I'll bowl lather it from now on, by personal preference, but a fantastic cream!
Strop: Always trustworthy, SRD Modular paddle equipped with raw felt and Premium I. 40/50 before the shave, 30/50 after.
Drink: A warm tea-pot of black tea... Irish Breakfast to be precise, with a small amount of sugar, and some cream. Delicious way to end a fantastic shave.
Results: 2 passes, WTG and XTG, left damn near BBS ATG! I love this razor, cream and brush. Truly the best one yet!
Cheers, SOTD friends!
