    Default Sunday midday

    Pre: Cold shower
    Razor: Helsjestrand M K no: 4
Brush: New Forest, 22 mm two banded
    Soap: Omega
    Post: Proraso
    AS: Alcolado Glacial
    Result: Very, very good!
I love this brush, it´s getting better and better as it breaks in - soft tips with a good backbone. Face lather today and I put the scuttle in the refrigerator an hour before the shave . Razor was excellent, I was thinking of getting rid of it, becuase it´s very close to my MK no: 31 (which I like the design of the blade better), but it´s shaving like a dream and will be staying. Got a nice menthol kick from the Omega soap and Proraso, but when I splashed the Alcolado on, I actually danced an Irish sword dance for a couple of secs

It is a beauty I've been eyeing something like a Wacker or Dorko for a while now. I don't mean to hijack the thread but do you have a wacker to compare it to? If so, which is the better shaver in your opinion. Thank you!

    Gibbs Frescura Marinha SC
    Vulfix 660 Badger
    Genco Master Barber
Tony Miller strop 40 Linen/75 Leather
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Spanish Floïd AS

The Genco razors enjoy a well deserved reputation as great shavers, and this one is no exception!
This was the first straight razor I honed myself, and it provided my first straight razor shaves. I touched it up this morning on the stones, and today's shave is a testament to how much I've learned, and how far I've come... Just an awesome shave! Everything is coming together..
First time for the Gibbs Marine Fresh cream, and it was outstanding... Very enjoyable.
