The citrus of the Blenheim Bouquet and the Habit Rouge were highly complimentary to one another and a great BBS in all areas other than the goatee!

Nice looking shave, Scipio. How do you like the BB cream? I just ordered some "blind"...

It was an excellent shave. That Penhaligon's is amongst my favourite of all creams and soaps. Robin did a review of it which is definitely worth reading - it certainly convinced me to make a purchase from a Penhaligon's shop in London. I like the scent so much that I ordered the EDT which should be with me soon.

Did you order the tub or the tube? Either way, I doubt you'd be disappointed as this cream for me is truly awesome.

Make sure you add your ratings and comments to Robin's review, I'd be interested to see what you think.

I got the tube (I'm travelling for two weeks starting next Sunday and wanted it to take with). I've been using the cologne almost daily, so I thought I'd give it a go based on the reviews I'd read (including Robin's), but I've not tried it or spoken directly to anyone who has... I will contribute to the review thread once I've given it a thorough test!

Haha, I wish to know how the cologne works - does it last long? Thats the main thing for me, longevity. At least you know you already like the scent of the cream, which for me is a very important factor. I have a feeling the tubed version may have a little less viscosity as it is less exposed to air. You should love it.

Thumbs up Week of August 1 SOTD - Sunday

Pre-Shave: Hot shower + Stephan's Smooth Conditioning Shaving Creme
    Razor: 5/8" Respecto #77 full-hollow, Round Point
    Brush: 22mm Vulfix Super badger
Überlather: Godrej menthol mist shave creme + TOBS Eaton College Collection soap + squirt of glycerin
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: Trumper's Sandalwood Skin Food
Facial Moisturizer: Dr. Hauschka's quince creme
    ASB: Trufitt & Hill Trafalgar
Result: Fabulous "start-of-August" shave. The Godrej creme was one I hadn't tried before but was sent to me along with the purchase of my Kindal. It produces a very good lather and has a an "bone-chilling" cooling effect (which was kinda strange with warm lather)...quite an interesting dichotomy. I really enjoyed the Yin and Yang (warm and cold) feeling from this. My Respecto delivered an extra smooth shave. After my shave routine, I used my wife's "Dr. Hauschka quince creme" as a moisturizer...I highly recommend it (a bit expensive, but worth every penny).

    Sunday, 8.1.10

Aura Glow as a Pre Shave Oil, and fuel for my fantasies
    Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Semogue SOC SuperBoar
    Gebr. Weyersberg Corneta 078½
Tony Miller strop 40 Linen/70 Leather
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Spanish Floïd Suave

When I lather up with Mitchell's Wool Fat, I'm no longer Bill the commoner... Everyman Bill. I'm transformed into King William, Prince William (ooops, that's taken), or Sir William... Ready and able to scale midieval castle walls to rescue Maid Marian or pursue my dalliance with Guenevere.
It just feels that luxurious to me!

Did I ever mention that I loove MWF?
