Just got back from a week in Peru with my GF visiting her family and seeing the sites. Got engaged in the process. Anyway, first shave (and hot shower) since Thursday so I was really looking forward to this one and I was not disappointed!

She has family in Cuzco, so we stayed there for the most part. Went to Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo and Pisac as well. We did not do the Inca Trail hike as we did not have enough time and had to get back to our jobs.

Man...that brings back a lot of memories (all those places).

Hot Shower, great shave. They keep getting better!

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

1964 Macys badger
1934 type Aristocrat/Iridium
Institut Karite SS
Lumene AS balm
vintage 'Havana' EdT

The open comb Aristocrat's a nice change of pace for me. It's one of the milder OC types, and it results in a pretty comfortable and closer than usual shave.

The somewhat handle heavy balance isn't quite to my liking, but adjusting the technique helps take care of that. This is one of the nicest looking razors I own and I'm glad I can use it in comfort.
