    SOTD Sunday August 8, 2010

Razor: 5/8 Tiger Wedge, Hollow Point
    Shaving Cream: La Taja
    Lather Bowl: Ceramic
    Scuttle: RAB Ceramic
    Brush: Semouge Boar 1460
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
    Aftershave: Lustray Coachman ASL

Great shave this morning with the Tiger Wedge. Missed shaving yesterday, left very early in the morning on a motorcycle ride with the Widows Sons MA to Crater Lake State Forest for an outdoor (in the forest wilderness) Masonic Third Degree. This is an annual event that has been done since 1948. It was authorized by then President Harry S. Truman. (himself, a Past Grand Master of the State of Missouri) One of the most interesting degree ceremonies in Masonry done in the middle of a secluded conifer forest. The ride was beautiful through one of the most scenic areas in the United States IMHO. It was a great day for a motorcycle ride and raising a Master Mason.

    Bruce,
That ride sounds wonderfully interesting...Crater lake and surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. I bet you had an even better time than portrayed in your post

    Ride on (and shave on)

    Hi Amund,
I must say (and please pardon my ignorance), but that is one of the more interesting yet elegant brushes I have seen...I would almost call it an "Albino" brush...I've never seen one with bristles that white at the base and tips . How does it feel?

It's a bleak (washed out) boar, nice brush though. I prefer badgers but like to give my boars a spin once in a while.

Result: First class shave for Sunday. As always, love using the Shavemac to prep the beard and the Friodur is an absolute treat to mow those pesky whiskers.
