Absolutely stunning artwork!

The main result we want to achieve is get a feeling of where you live.

For those that would have a hard time because they really don't have the best backdrop/view/landscape from their living space can extend this by taking their SOTD (with your shaving gear off course) from somewhere in your hood, neighbor, town, city,...

If people give you a weird look because you're trying to take a picture of your SOTD on a bench in the park or on the sidewalk just tell them it's for SRP's themed shave of the day.

I'm going to take mine with tea and dumplings in a local street restaurant or night market.

    José,
I was kiddin' about the other 49 guests.

In all seriousness...you live in paradise my friend. When my wife and I make our vacation plans (and we are debating either Italy or Spain) next time, I'll make sure that I come by and visit (near a nearby hotel/village, of course) to spend some quality time chatting about shaves, life and whatever else comes in between...My wife and I would love to treat you (and your wife) to your favorite wine (and food) at this beautiful winery. I'll also collect a year's worth of SOTD background shots .

Thanks for your kind words, I am not married at the moment (I get divorced last year), but I visited Italy (Rome, Tuscany and Umbria) with my wife (when I was married) some years ago,.....And I recommend you to visit Italy, specially if you like the art. In my region (Basque Country) there are other places of interest, it's varied (landscapes, mountains, middle age monuments, the coast of Spain and France....), but there is no art of Rinascimento

My apologies José...I assumed you were married. Didn't mean it intentionally.

As far Italy...We've both visited Italy several times (from North to South)...In fact, we've done so with most of Europe...but, we figure it's time again to retrace our steps ...At some point, we'll make a decision.

Hmmmm I stay ten floors up in the centre of the city, but I think I could undertake of this, it may take a bit of nifty balancing but I get some rather nice shots from my window that I think would compliment my SOTD well
