Result: Darn tootin' smooth for a Jewish wedding gig in a few hours. I've never played so much D minor in my life. L'Chaim!
    Justin,
That is by far the most curvaceous "not so" straight blade I have ever laid eyes on. Beautiful

It is not your wedding? Is it?

Great, relaxing smooth shave! Have a good week.
I love that razor, may I have it? If i shaves as good as it looks I'd love to have one, any ideas?

    Luxury Shave Day...

Aura Glow as a Pre Shave Oil and feel for the occult
Acqua di Parma Luxury Shave Cream
    Simpson's X2L Ehsan 2 Band Super
Wacker Old Sheffield No.4 Stosser 13/16ths
    SRD Premium I Strop .. 40 Linen/85 Leather
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Spanish Floïd Suave

First and foremost, thanks to Curtiss (Scissors) for his kindness and generosity in sending the Acqua di Parma sample for today's shave.
I must admit to feeling a bit jaded about all the praise heaped on this cream, but I'm here to tell you that it is amazing stuff! A little dab explodes into a mountain of creamy lather, and Scissors was right on in his recommandation to treat it like soap and pre soften it with a bit of water... A real luxury product... and since most of my choices are pretty pedestrian, I can tell the difference!
The Wacker added to the illusion of a man in the lap of luxury rather than just another face in the crowd (which I try my best to avoid!)..

A great shave for (hopefully) a quiet Sunday..

First and foremeost I want to say WOW for last week's themed SOTD. This will be one to never forget. We can't thank you enough for making this happen.
Back to the old school drawing board for our weekly SOTD's. Have a great shave!
Results: I just love the refreshing spruce scent (amongst other eo's) from the Special 218 soap. Combined with the excellent performing chubby II, freshly honed Revisor, incredible moisturizing E-shave FF AS soother and Guerlain's masterpiece Habit Rouge, I couldn't resist but have a big satisfying smile on my face.
Hey Max, How would u describe The Habit Rouge ? Ive wanted to pick up a bottle , but whats your take on it?

Yes, it does shave as good as It looks. I bought my two from John at the Shavingshop.
