    Default Happy Halloween!

    Prep: Hot towell
Strop: SRD Premium IV English Bridle 25 webbing/ 50 leather
Brush: TGN Custom Silvertip in cherry wood handle
    Scuttle: SRD
Cream: Carrie M's black raspberry vanilla
    Razor: Wostenholm Pipe
After Shave: Ogallala bayrum & sandalwood
Result: 2 passes (WTG, XTG). With the arrival of cooler weather, I have started heating my water in an electric kettle...AMAZING! Why I never did this before I have no idea. Carrie M's black raspberry vanilla makes me want crepes for breakfast and it provided an amazing lather. I reset the bevel on this blade last night and honed it through 12k since yesterdays shave was more of a scraping than a shave. Today was completely different, 2 passes and a very comfortable, close shave. Have a safe and happy halloween gentlemen!

While I had the camera out the kids decided to all pile on daddyo. I was fortunate that my wife was close by and took this very special shot. This is Lilly, Jack and baby Mason Elvis. And thats not all... I have another daughter Jess who is not in the photo.

Happy Halloween and have a great week boys.

Result: Darn fine shave. I had been wanting to try the Art of Shaving products for a while now, but just hadn't had the opportunity. Yesterday, I spotted them in a store and figured why not. I really don't have an opinion on the pre shave oil yet, as I've only used it once, and it's the first time I've ever even used a pre shave oil. The cream (and oil) has a really good scent that will really help you wake up. It builds a good lather in a short amount of time, and stays on the face well with plenty of cushion and glide. In other words, first impression = good.

Happy Holloween, and have a great Sunday!
    Hi James,
Sounds like a fine shave .

PS: AOS seems to make pretty good stuff...Their lavender SC is great. I haven't tried AOS' pre-shave oil, but it does smell great. I use my T&H oil, mostly because of scent. It is wonderful. But (in my case), performance wise, I found the use of pre-shave oils to be unnecessary as my überlather is more than adequate enough to soften my beard.
