    Razor: Livi 6/8
    After Shave: Master's Bayrum

Result: I picked up the Cuba EDT on Friday last week and have been completely captivated by it. It smells like the sweet smell of a cigar humidor (spanish cedar & tobacco). I decided this morning to follow the clean scent of the Tabac with some Bayrum followed by the Cuba "red" and I feel like a million bucks. The Lather this morning was amazing and I had enough to easily do my 3 passes. The heft of the 6/8 Livi blade mowed down the whiskers with zero irritation.

Have a great day gentlemen! I love all the beautifull razors we have seen so far this week !
    Glenn,
That is one heck of "million dollar" shave...Super blade, super soap/creme, and a super post-shave follow-up. Well done maestro

I was never quite satisfied with the shave I got from this Fili, so I took her back to the stones. Let's just say it was time well spent. The blade was smooth and she left my face so clean I can't describe. The Bomb was, as usual, exactly as it's name describes. The Potomac scent is awesome. Then, the piece de resistance - Montale Red Vetyver.

The SOTDs are inspiring and start my day off right each morning. Thank you gentlemen!
Beautiful Fili Bill . Congrats on taming this beast on the hones. She takes quite an edge, doesn't she?

I was so tired this morning, like really tired. Everything was in a haze and I was seriously thinking of not shaving. But of course I had to . I got a very clean, problem free and even shave though , I guess the fear drove me to preform. Have a good one today and thank you for all the nice SOTD:s!
    Mikael,
Wowww...what a gorgeous blade . Love the etching.

PS: I got my new Forest brush (2211) a couple of days ago and will use it soon. How do you like yours?

    PS: Get some rest

Thanks, she does take quite an edge. I'm not sure I'll say she's "tamed" yet because I still have a long way to go and a lot to learn about the stones...

    Thursday 11/4/10

    SSA Eskiltuna 4/8
    New Forest 2211
    Prairie Creations Mayan Magic soap
    Thayers Cucumber WH w/ aloe
    Aqua Velva a/s
    MK for Men a/s gel
    Vetiver de Puig Edt

I had difficulty choosing my blade this morning as I still have a nick from the last shave to contend with but ended up with the small Swedish blade that I find very easy to handle. I used Krissy's Mayan Magic soap for the first time and developed a nice lather that smelled wonderful and provided a fine cushion for the blade. A fine shave was the result and the Vetiver de Puig seemed just right for this rainy autumn day.

    Default Thursday Morning Shave

PREP: Hot shower with face scrub
    RAZOR: Genco Goldseal
    BRUSH: PJ3
    SOAP: Trumpers Sandalwood
    ASTRINGENT: Thayer's Lemon WH
    ASB: Sandalwood Skinfood
    AS:None
    EDT: Guerlain Vetiver
    RESULTS: EXTREMELY CLOSE,SMOOTH,SHAVE..

Great shave today, I took my time , nice and slow enjoying every moment. The Goldseal is by far one of my favorite blades, very basic looking but it gives an incredible shave. The Trumpers SW is always a treat to use, love the smell, and pair it up with the Skinfood and its pure Heaven. Finish it off with some vintage Vetiver and its one hell of a Thursday!

    ENJOY THE DAY GENTS!
