At 5 mo, I still have trouble/touch-up areas. One thread that was supportive for me was about guys w/ trouble areas. Many long time users fessed up about using a DE or disposable to hit those areas. I'm too dumb to know when to quit - still stretching, contorting, stroking and stitching ( ) my way to get those areas. Keep enjoying it, and the rest will come. 'Grats on a fine start & great looking kit.

BTW: I had the identical Shumate, and it's a wonderful shaver. 'Only reason for letting it go was having ham sized hands that prefer a taller, heavier blade.

    (4) I'm going to Hogwarts right now...
    1) we all have at some point...you need a few weeks and it will click. It always does

    2) So was I...but things catch up equally. Keep using both hands.

    3) It'll happen...that's one of the most problematic areas for us all.

    4) as in Harry Potter Hogwarts ?

    Default Tabac Monday!

New Forest 2201 | Tabac | Dovo Bismark Spike | Gillette SS | Alum | Institut Karite Balm | Tabac Eau De Cologne

This Dovo is sort of an experimenting blade for me. It was my third attempt honing on my new coticule, but the results were not quite up to the standards of my previous two attempts. I got a close shave on my WTG pass, but it was not as comfortable as I would have liked so I finished with my Gillette.

You're on your way maestro ...I am not an expert or anything (hopefully max and Glen will chime here), but I would say that if it didn't tear up your face on WTG, you are in the "zip code". You just need to dial in the address. Almost there...keep rocking .

I see and acknowledge your Tabac addiction buddy .
