Rene,
My...that's a gorgeous blade :nj. If you ever decide to part with it (which I hope you never do), do let me know.
Wowwww Mikael :tu. Now, I think I need to get me a Dorko like this one. This forum is hazardous to one's wallet :gaah:
Hey Bill,
I love this razor, but resetting the bevel already ? This soon? Mine still holds a fabulous edge (and we both got it ~same time)...Ahhhh, maybe you're just "stoned" :roflmao.
Sorry mate ";"...I got all things Tabac of mine from here.
A Rosy Kind of Shave
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Razor: 5/8" Dubl Duck "Special #1", Hollow, Square Point Brush: 22mm New Forest Silvertip Badger Überlather: SRD Bulgarian Rose Shave Creme+ (nothing else) Astringent: Thayer's Witch hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: D.R. Harris After Shave Milk After Shave: Tabac AS Lotion Cologne: Tabac EDC Result: Today's überlather was with SRD's Bulgarian Rose creme, with nothing mixed. This creme has a divine scent and makes for one heck of a super, super rich and thick lather (all by itself). Wowwww!!!! That's all I can say. The Duck was very happy playing in this virgin, rose-scented, snow garden. Wonderful!!! simply wonderful . The shave was effortless with this creme/blade combination. Side note: This soap is quickly becoming one of my wife's favorites too :D. At the risk of sounding like a commercial, I highly recommend this soap...If you haven't tried it before, it needs to be on your X-mas shopping list...get your hands on this any which way you can.

The Dovo was honed last night with the help of the girls. They helped me raise the slurry. It was wonderful having them help me. Then I helped them begin their sharpening experience by allowing them to do some laps on the Norton with a kitchen knife. My hands guiding them of course.
