Todays shave was one of the closest smoothest shaves I have ever had. I waited about 4 days as to have a lot of growth to hack off ,and the CMon took it all off without hesitation. Match that with the Uberlather of Vetiver and well I am in Vetiver Heaven. Decided to take a pic outside again and match the grassy smokiness of the vetiver with the background.

EXCELLENT PICS GUYS IM LOVING THIS WEEK !!!!!!!!!
Beautiful C-mon! Did max restore her?

    Robert,
You have fueled another Aquisition Disorder for me. I gotta get me some Tabac soap. I got my hands on a tube of cream the other day but I cant find the soap anywhere round here. I'm going to have to try online. I'm on a mission now.
    Cheers

    Rene,
My...that's a gorgeous blade . If you ever decide to part with it (which I hope you never do), do let me know.

The edge on the Solgen was nice (I had to go back to reset the bevel after it got dinged), but I think it can use a bit more work.
    Hey Bill,
I love this razor, but resetting the bevel already ? This soon? Mine still holds a fabulous edge (and we both got it ~same time)...Ahhhh, maybe you're just "stoned" .

Post Week of November 14 SOTD - Tuesday

    A Rosy Kind of Shave

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Razor: 5/8" Dubl Duck "Special #1", Hollow, Square Point
Brush: 22mm New Forest Silvertip Badger
Überlather: SRD Bulgarian Rose Shave Creme+ (nothing else)
Astringent: Thayer's Witch hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
Moisturizer: D.R. Harris After Shave Milk
    After Shave: Tabac AS Lotion
    Cologne: Tabac EDC
Result: Today's überlather was with SRD's Bulgarian Rose creme, with nothing mixed. This creme has a divine scent and makes for one heck of a super, super rich and thick lather (all by itself). Wowwww!!!! That's all I can say. The Duck was very happy playing in this virgin, rose-scented, snow garden. Wonderful!!! simply wonderful . The shave was effortless with this creme/blade combination. Side note: This soap is quickly becoming one of my wife's favorites too . At the risk of sounding like a commercial, I highly recommend this soap...If you haven't tried it before, it needs to be on your X-mas shopping list...get your hands on this any which way you can.
