11-16-2010, 11:43 AM #118Razor: "Solgen" Japanese Full Hollow
Soap: Queen Charlotte Soaps' Vostok
Brush: Shavemac Silvertip
Strop: Kanayama
Astringent: Thayer's Lavender
ASB: CarrieM AS Milk
EdT: Penhaligon's Love Potion No. 9
Result: The soap made my face feel like I stuck it in a snow bank--wow is it chilly! The edge on the Solgen was nice (I had to go back to reset the bevel after it got dinged), but I think it can use a bit more work. Even so, I was left with a very nice smooth face after two passes plus touchup...
