Thank you for the kind invitation, Mikael and Max. I'd enjoyed SRP long before I joined here, now it'll be more active :-).

Hey Metalfab! Your a Williams/boars hair fiend as well? I am still at that 5 years later! A very BIG welcome PETO! Great job!

Keep the Faith! I am hitting the "thanks button" now.....OH! What? it's gone! NOW instead of thanks we do rambling messages. I put a post it note with "thanks!" on my monitor. I have clicked on it several times this AM! Not the same though. Thanks

    Default SOTD 11-24-2010

    Prep:Hot shower
    Brush:Semogue 830
Strop: SRD Premium IV English Bridle
    Scuttle: SRD
    Soap: Mama Bear's “Northwoods”
    Razor: D.C. Halsted
After shave: Brut (A tribute to ETom, glad you're enjoying your vacation Buddy!)
    EDT: Burberry “Weekend”

Result:This was my first shave ever with a wedge. Sham did a great job honing this beast for me. A very different feel with a lot less “feedback” from the blade. A good shave, but kind of weird, smooth in some places, rough in others. I guess wedges take some getting used to technique wise.

I have enjoyed taking pictures since I was a child. When I was a kid, I was digging around in my Grandfather's basement and found this Polaroid Land Camera 250. Grandpa said I could have it. I've never actually used it (can't find film), but it has had many a thousand pretend pictures taken when I was young. I would carry it everywhere and pretend to be taking the most important pictures for the paper. It represents my fond memories of my Grandpa and the start of a life long love of taking pictures.

Have a great Sunday gentlemen, you deserve it!

The word "Brisk" conjures peaceful memories of beautiful chilly fall mornings. I had visions of FROSTBITE blowin' through my helmet

    ...beautiful shot today btw!
