Great job honing them Rene . I know that Henckels was giving some trouble awhile back. You finally showed her who's boss, eh ?

Shave this morning with this thing was amazing! Second photo is courtesy of my wonderful, supportive fiance!
And you were worried that you'd never find another one. Congrats on a great find Frank . I am very glad you found her again.

Ain't it grand to have supportive "better halves"? In my case, a better 90%

    Brush: Badger in horn
    Soap: L'Occitane
Razor: RW 7/8 Classic (looks scary in this photo!)
    Aftershave: TOBS Sandalwood balm

Happy weekend everyone. This one was a shower followed by hot water shave. I usually do cold water being in a cold climate and finding cold works great. This time however beard softened up great which was good considering the few days growth - thank you Robert for the suggestion and the advice. Enjoyable and relaxing, I am now properly ready to enjoy some tea and a lazy Saturday afternoon.

Le Grelot a la Max | SRD Bulgarian Rose Otto | Best Badger Travel Brush | Thayers Lavender | Sandalwood SkinFood | Mazzolari Lui

I arrived in Las Vegas yesterday, and Max was gracious enough to have me out to his home. I had a great time as he showed me where all the magic happens in his restorations. He also showed me a number of projects he had in the works. It's great to see a true master at his craft!

Best of all, I had a wonderful time getting to know Max and his wife--and who could ever forget ViVi (I know Robert prefers her to Max)! They are truly genuine and generous people. The visit was awesome. Thank you!

Before he brought me back to my hotel, Max turned over possession of two blades he did for me. This Le Grelot took a tremendous amount of work as he did a regrind to get rid of all the pitting on the spine. Like all his razors, it turned out flawless. What a special blade to add to my collection! This morning I gave her a workout, and the answer is "Yes, she does shave as great as she looks!"

(sorry for the poor image quality - cellphone camera)

It's been a great week of shaves, gentlemen, keep them coming!

Sorry about the nick Mikael (courtesy of Neil ), but great shave it seems, despite your allergy to Lanolin. I think, regardless of the pimples, I would have done the same...keep using it anyway (unless it becomes really bad)
