PREP: Hot shower with face scrub
    RAZOR: Genco Seneca Chief
    BRUSH: Simpson PJ3
UBERLATHER: Trumpers Sandalwood with my homemade sheabutter unscented shave soap
    ASTRINGENT: Thayers Unscented
    ASB Trumpers SW skinfood
    AFTERSHAVE: Booster Mosswood

    RESULTS: RELAXING ZEN LIKE SHAVE

I have been very busy this weekend, was in Vegas for a quick 1 day to attend my 2 nieces birthday party, and woke up early this morning to head back so I needed to shave when I came back. Ahhhhh this shave was soo needed, nice and relaxing. Haven't used this blade in awhile and it rocked!!! Smooth as silk, as for the uberlather, Trumpers SW smells so heavenly and added with my home made (jockeys soap tutorial) shea butter soap I feel sooo great and I am ready for this busy week up ahead.

AMAZING PICS GUYS!!! I LOVE THIS LITTLE BROTHERHOOD WE GOT HERE

P.S sorry to Bill and Max i would have to loved to meet up with you guys but time would not allow it, hopefully in the near future though

Long week. Long days at work and last day of class so I have 18 final papers to grade. Looking forward to the coming long weekend for Thanksgiving.

    Anyway Today's shave:

Long hot shower, Stephens rubbed into whiskers
    Warm Oil
    DB Scuttle
    Proraso Shave cream
    New Forest Badger
    SRD P1 Strop, 25 Felt, 50 leather
    Double Duck, by Max
    AOS Aluminum
    Bay Rum
    Vaseline for men.

This razor gives an incredible shave. Anyone who has shaved with a razor from Max understands. The New Forest seems to really blooming after some use and along with the Proraso really felt creamy.
    Another really nice, relaxing shave.

    Enjoy the evening.

The Speyside is a good Single malt for anyone at any price. Not just due to the price. It has a great flavor. I think much of the price of some Scotch is due to advertising, not production. There are many great single malts that are not expensive.

Look through here, you can get some great ideas.

The ultimate single malt- Scotch Whisky - bottler

    Cheers!!

Been using DE's for many years and just getting
into Straights, I should have started with Straights
before DE's. I find it much easier and much more controlling
than DE's were. I have in the last two shaves
gotten a closer and more comfortable shave and
not gotten any razor burn or irritation at all.
My skin is already smoother and softer.

Second: Great shave & congrats on making a homemade Shea butter
