Result: Time for some "Bow" action today. I think wedges are underrated and don't receive the praise that they deserve. I love this one (done by Max...like you can't tell) . This silent killer gives virtually zero auditory feedback as she cleans the "trash" (This holds equally true during stropping). The Cella/Godrej combo überlather was refreshingly moist and "cold as ice"...Brrrrr!!!! But at the end of this exercise, my face was left incredibly smooth and moisturized. Everything in life should be and feel this good .

    Have a wonderful Monday gentlemen.
Since I can't find the "button" anymore; a comment is in order: you are right Robert wedges are underated..I always say that a wedge is a full hollow with a silencer. I do own a wedge a Wacker model 4. HOG

    Default Wednesday Shave!

Frank Shaving Silvertip | Tabac | Hart Steel | Alum | Institut Karite Balm | Tabac Cologne

I consistently get very good shaves from the Hart Steel, but not BBS. I took it to the coticule last night, and my results this morning were better, but still not where I want it to be. The problem is, I have 3 blades in my rotation honed by Stefan (mainaman), so I guess I am looking for that level of perfection on all my edges. Back to work on this one....honing is fun.

    Hog,

A Thanks button is only a button, but folks like the SOTD gang here at SRP are forever.

Thanks Joe ...the only thing I found with this is when the lather sat for 10 minutes (after my shave) it was dead. But, that's probably because I haven't found the perfect spot for this soap yet. I will experiment with the water:soap ratio...I have a feeling I need more soap. But, once you get it going, there doesn't seem to be stopping it. Even when I whipped it, it was great.

    You tease . Not fair

That's a good problem to have...i.e., aiming for that perfect edge.

    Robert,

You are oh so right. I was really surprised at how effortlessly my shave was with this razor. Folks here in the SOTD will be seeing a lot more of her in the future.

I guess "problem" is not the correct way to put it....."spoiled" would be more appropriate in this case.
