This was my first shave with a W&B, this thing is by far the biggest heaviest razor in the collection, its like stropping a baseball bat.
The old W&B's are just so cool, I've been looking forward to this shave for a long time. This was my favourite razor even before I began restoring it, so I decided to get a few other favorites involved, Tabac, Bay Rum and The King
I was hoping for a good shave from this beauty and it BY FAR exceeded my expectations. 2 passes + touch-ups, BBS. The edge feels so smooth you could almost forget that its sharp, it just wipes the whiskers away.
    Truly a blissful shave.
I'm flying to Sydney in the morning and not taking any razors, so I wont have any pics to post for a few days, but I'll be around.
Have a great week Gentlemen, thanks for all the posts and pics.

    Default Sunday 16`th shave!

Good day Gentlemen. Today started with grey weather, so no hurry this morning. Nothing better than a great shave then. Put on some music, Eric Satie`s Gymnopedies, went down to my cellar to pick a cigar for the day thinking about what to use for todays shave.

Prep was a quality hairconditioner "stolen" from my girlfriend and lot of hot water. Used a Georgetown Hamada Scuttle with boiling water today, not the monster Scuttle like my SW XL, but beautiful!

Today`s lather was made with a few "swirls" on a Fitjarsoap vanilla soap blended with TOBS Sandalwood cream. The Chubby 3 with a 32 mm knot love large amounts of product, and I delivered just that. The reward is unlimited passes of warm, thick lather and the "silkiest" feeling on your face.

Straight of the day was an almost new Thiers-Issard Snakewood 6/8 Historic La Mouette. I honed it with love on a Naniwa 12 K when I got it, and gave it 30 linen and 50 leather strokes on an Ambrose strop gifted by Lz6 today. It shaves fantastic, and the blade is imo beautiful. Today I shaved many passes because the feeling, music and mood was so brilliant. The result was absolutely BBS everywhere, not a stub even when pushing my fingers hard ATG in my face

Cold water and Alun, then finished with plenty of Gentlemen Tonic Aftershave cream.

Now it is time for an aged Montecrito No. 2 and a pot of Kenya AA coffee, music is now Edvard Griegs Lyric pieces played on Griegs own piano by Leif Ove Andsnes. Have a great Sunday everybody!
