Sorry to hear about your illness. Hope it becomes a "past tense" statement soon!

Don't worry about all that stubble. The shaving gods have rewarded you with a fine gift at the end of your pain - that is going to be one heck of an awesome shave !! Believe me... I took 3-4 weeks' of stubble off after my Movember attempt and man did it feel good!!

Just remember to do a good prep and keep that straight really sharp!

Returned from Florida today. It was 78 degrees when we left, arrived home to 18. I wanted to turn around and go back. Luckily a good friend had cleared the snow for me. There was unpacking and getting things in order around here and then a few minutes to relax.
I decided about 5PM to take a nice hot shower and a shave. I chose the Bow razor to knock off the 2 days of stubble.

Hot shower with Neutrogena Skin prep.
    Warm Oil
    Hannah ceramic bowl
    New Forest Badger
    Castle Forbes Lavender SC
Glycerin and Vitamin E oil added
    Bow 7/8
    SRD Premium 1, 40 felt 60 leather
    Thayers Rose Petal
    Vaseline for men.

What a great shave. The Castle Forbes felt so luxurious. The blade slid along my skin effortlessly and provided an absolutely fantastic shave.

Thanks for the kind words Zeus! The Globusmen Gold No.46 is one of my favorite razors. I wrote about recently over at B&B when someone was asking about the Globusmen razors. Here is the link:
