I'll be sure to get some to you to check out. Beautiful shave you had yourself too, Robert.

BTW, me Helje will be here this week !
That is excellent...I can already see the writing on the wall; "Blugill & Sis Soap Manufacturing Inc". It would be an honor trying it out. Thank you

Oooohhhhhh. You're going to love that Helje. Congrats again

    Mikael,
Excellent shot and shave as usual maestro. Beautiful razor. She's some curvaceous beauty. Very nice brush too, but never heard of a "Chris Custom"!

This razor recently came to me out of the generosity of my friend here, Mikael. It was a complete surprise in many respects: (1) because I neither asked for nor expected to receive it and (2) it honed up so easily!
    Bill,
That is a beautiful razor and very generous of Mikael. Enjoy it.

Shoot me a pm and I'll provide you with the url.
I know Monroe. It gets pretty confusing for me too. There should be a universal nomenclature that all makers adhere to.

I think I have way more brushes than I need, but I'd be curious. Will shoot a PM soon.

    Sachin,
Agreed...For me, I prefer the "Signature" scent, but both their performances are top notch. And thanks for the compliment.

As for the Chubby vs. Thater comparison...I love them both (I have another Simpson - 2-band, 26mm - on order as we speak), but it's not a fair comparison since the Thater is 24mm and the Chubby 2, 26mm. The Chubby 2 has very soft hair as does the Thater, but for some reason, I favor the Thater (even though I have not used it too much as of late). PS: The Thater and Shavemac are very similar (their regular Silvertip). so same comparison applies. Of course, the D01s are a whole different breed of animal.

Gentlemen, I checked out for a while...I have been loking at everyone's posts, but I have been to busy to contribute to this great site. I appreciate everyone's pictures everyday though. They give me something to look at besides work. I can't complain, at least I am working..And these days, that is a good thing!

Razor: Wacker (picked it up over Christmas)
    AS: Ogallala Sandelwood
    Shave Creme: Proraso
Brush: Antler and Golden Nib's Finest

The shave with this Wacker is fantastic! I know why they are so expensive now...It sits in my rotation and stands out by it self. Beautiful and a great shave..By far y best ebay purchase so far.

Thank you, Maestro of the SOTD Chris is an English brush maker, he turns the handles himself and he doesn´t have a own name for the brushes, but his name is Chris and it´s my Chris Craft, not to far from my Polo 8 in super two band. Very nice brush anyhow.
