    Morning shave- Running Late

    Hot Shower
    Wade and Butcher Wedge
    Omega boar
    TOBS Eton College
    Witch Hazel
    Corn Huskers Lotion
Murray and Lanman's Lotus and Violets Cologne
    DAX High and Tight Pomade

It's been quite a while since my last shave with this razor. Since most of the rest of the fleet is hollow ground, this one feels kind of strange (not much feedback at all) this sometimes creates the illusion of the razor being dull or a not so good shave. Definitely not the case this morning, feedback or no, this razor effortlessly manscaped my facial region and no doubt if I skipped tomorrow's shave (which I most assuredly will NOT) I would still be presentable for public display until probably 3 or 4 PM. The Lotus and Violets cologne was about the only thing I had that was remotely flowery (which is the smell I get from TOBS EC) and it was indeed a good combination. I'd bet that Pinaud Lilac Vegetal with this SC would be the cat's pajamas.
The older I get, the better I was

    Default SOTD -- 1.25.2011

    Rudy Vey | Bomb Goodfellas | Goodfella DE + Feather | Thayer's Rose Petal | L'Occitane Balm | YSL M7

First run with my new brush from Rudy Vey who is a great guy. The knot is 24mm finest extra stuffed and I had Rudy set the loft at 46mm. Face lathered with it and it is very nice. I love the "Eagle" style handle also.

This is Goliath the rhinoceros beetle. The kids found him a few days ago. He was fun to have around for a couple of days but we let him go after the photo.

I bought this razor a while ago but never used it. Probably because it looks so good. LOL! I wanted to use the Cyril Salter all alone this time. All i can say is WOW to both. This cream is fantastic. Zero irritation, smooth comfortable shave. The edge on this razor is outstanding. Todays shave left me with a wonderful BBS shave.
