    Prep:Hot shower
Brush: 24mm Silvertip Premium in Cherry
    Strop:SRD PIV English Bridle
    Cream: Bomb “Calypso”
    Razor: Red Imp
Hones: Norton 1k,4k,8k, Naniwa 12k, Asagi
After shave: Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood
    EDT: Creed Original Vetiver

Result: Today's shave was FANTASTIC! The joy that comes from doing everything yourself is o so satisfying. I found this blade at an antique store on Saturday. The scales were scratched up and had some #'s and letters scratched into them and the blade had some staining and rust. I hand sanded the blade through 1000 grit, and polished with semichrome. I sanded the scales through 12,000 grit and finished with a coat of renaissance wax. She took a beautiful edge and I really enjoy the smoothness of the edge I get off of my Asagi.

Sorry about the cell phone camera pic, I didn't have time to use my normal gear this morning.

Have a great Tuesday gentlemen, you've earned it!

Busy night lst night. I bought a Georgetown pottery scuttle. I was torn between the birty bird and the Georgetown..I decided on the Geaorgetown..THe colors go with the bathroom better..I figured if I get it to blend then the wife won't see it as well.....Ten I stocked up on Ogallala..8 oz aftershave (sandalwood), two pucks creme, and two bath soaps (very creamy). Then on to another site for some old fashioned proraso and Lucky Tiger bay rum..Now I just have to slip it all by the wife..

    Razor: Carl Monkhouse
    Creme: Proraso
A/S: Aqua Velvet "Blue" (for the burn)..Followed up with Ogallala (for the smell).
    = Bliss

    Wintchase,
You might want to return that GP Scuttle, because I've never seen one that looks quite like the one in your picture... In fact, you might check with Fonti, his looks much more authentic!

Great looking shave, Tom, and a wonderful inverse effect on the photograph. One of these days soon, I'm going to have to pick up some of that Calani to try...

Grant, the razor is great, the photography is incredible, but I'm disappointed you wouldn't let the kids keep Goliath!
