Fili DT 13 | Kanayama | Cade SS | Semogue Custom Boar | Thayers Rose | Cade ASB | Trussardi Inside Man (Thanks FBones24)

The Cade was whipped into submission today (or at least into a nice creamy lather) by the Semogue, which is really breaking in nicely. The Fili made quick work of the stubble leaving my face nice and smooth. I can't say enough about the Cade ASB. It is absolutely top shelf. Then I finished it off with a wonderful new gourmand (coffee and chocolate) scent, courtesy of Frank P.

I can't think of a better way to start a work week than with a great shave, and the wonderful SOTD contributions of you all!

    Prep:Hot shower
Brush: 24mm Silvertip Premium in Custom Crimson Swirl
    Strop:SRD PIV English Bridle
Cream: Custom Bomb Frankincense, Myrrh, & Vetiver
    Razor: Genco “Easy Aces”
After shave: Custom ASB Frankincense, Myrrh, & Vetiver
    EDT: Cartier Roadster

Result: I used the same Cream/ASB/EDT combo as yesterday in an effort to extend the “Carpe Diem” experience. 2 passes with the Easy Aces and feeling great. This razor is easily one of my favorites and will always have a place in the rotation.

Thanks to all for the birthday wishes

Have a great Monday gentlemen, you've earned it!

    Glenn,

Thanks, I wasn't sure what to think of the scales before the razor arrived, but now I really love the figuring and the color variation they display!

Hope your birthday was everything you could hope for!

She's finicky, but I refuse to let a fickle woman win! I got a great lather going today. I just have to keep experimenting to really learn this soap!
