Thursday morning
Pre: Hot shower
Brush: Chris, 23 mm two band
Razor E A Berg
Soap: Henks Bay Rum
AS: Clubmans Bay Rum
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Uberclean
Despite a nick (when I was standing there and thinking what a cool and talented guy I am, that can shave sooo good, I somehow lost focus on the actual shaving and sliced a piece of my chin off) I got an extremly close shave today and the Bay Rum smells lovely and goes well with my new pirate scar
(nothing serious though, really).

01-27-2011, 11:26 AM #185Razor: Wostenholm IXL Doubly Carbonized
Brush: Semogue Custom Boar
Lather: Cade SS + Cream + Glycerin
Post: Thayers Rose
ASB: Cade
EdT: Odin 02 Owari
What a shave! The first time I used the Cade, I tried to uberlather and was left with a weak film. So, I dedicated myself to spending a week with the soap to learn how to lather it properly. For 4 straight days I used only the soap and the same Semogue Boar brush - I finally felt like I could make a good soap lather from this puck. So, today I added the Cade cream back into the mix for an uber. WOW! I was treated to the most moist, luxurious and cushioned lather I've ever made. It was incredible. I woke up late yesterday so I didn't have time to shave, but the Wostenholm never noticed. It danced its way through the creamy goodness on my face leaving me smooth as could be. By the time the shave was over, not only was the skin smooth, but it felt as if it was still wet because the lather was so moisturizing.
I now believe in Cade!
Gentlemen, the week's shaves have been so amazing, and I can't begin to address everyone individually, so I'll just say Thank You one and all!
