I had company for this shave, Jack was watching me, poking his finger in my lather and trying on after shaves. I had to finish after 2 passes because he was getting a little too enthusiastic with his exploration. Still very smooth and satisfied after the 2 passes.

Wow, what a shave! This razor has never been my favorite but I do believe this is the best shave I've ever had with it. It always just seemed to be one of those razors that no matter how much I honed and stropped it never got much better than just OK.

Thanks Robert, David has a similar razor so he said he would hone it for me, and a good thing he did it was a superb shave. Anytime i can get a free honing (that is actually good) Ill take it

Thanks Matt...I wouldn't go so far as call myself a convert yet. Shavemac is still my favorite brush by a large margin, but I do enjoy the Simpson brushes a lot. It'll take a lot more than a Simpson brush to make me "googoo gaga", LOL.
