    Awesome pic anyway!
Hi Rum! The Martin de Candre soap is one of my favorites. Although I have a large rotation of soaps, I have used the large wooden bowl of MdC the most of my soaps and for almost a full year. I actually let some friends borrow the soap as well. It's only gone down about one centimeter. At this rate I think I might have to put the soap in my will.

    Default Saturday; by by whiskers

    Location: 32°2805N 93°5516W
Music: Billie Holiday (and other assorted from that genre)
    Prep: Long shower
    Preshave: Proraso
    Scuttle: 1.5 Dirty Bird
Soap: Mitchells’ Wool Fat & Musgo Real Cream
    Brush: New Forest 2211
    Razor: Dovo Bergischer Lowe
Balm: Alum Block & Dominica Bay Rum w/ Lime
    After Shave: L’Occitane Vetyver
Result: Beautiful shave and the music set a wonderful background. Two passes and I didn’t want to stop but didn’t need to go any further; the whiskers were history. The Dominica BR + Lime is a good clean scent to me and paired with the Vetyver from L’Occitane is truly heady… I feel like the king of the world. A happy weekend to all.

    Default Leisure Saturday Afternoon

Star Brand St8/Rolls/Everest Russian shave cream/VieLong Horsehair/Vintage English Leather
This Star Brand straight ain't a Looker, but she does alright by me. Had to do a quick touch up with the Rolls on those hard to get areas on my chin and neck. Then the Rolls shaved the dome BBS with ease. BTW , you gentlemen have some beautiful razors and take great pic's.

LOL, that's a good one! I love mine too. I thought that I should go for the wooden bowl version, but opted for the glass pot in the end. Problem is it's so big, I miss it when I'm travelling!
