I was looking forward to this shave. I'm sure most people wouldn't understand, just how well a good shave can effect ones state of mind.
Your brothers here do...The rest of the multi-cartridge Gillette, canned goo-loving world...well, who cares if they understand or not, LOL!! Beautiful blade.

PS: Is the family back home with you or is it just you? How are the tests coming with Jack?

    Niiiiiiiiice

Things have been very hectic so far this week and looking at the SOTD has put a smile on my face and a spring in my step each time.
    Glenn,
I hear you brother. The Yin and the Yang. BTW: That's a nice Pipe razor.

Cade galore, eh Fonti? I love it. Those Friodurs are rather nice shavers.

Post Week of February 27 SOTD - Wednesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: 22mm Vulfix Super Badger
Razor: 6/8" Respecto #77, Full Hollow, Round Point
Strop: 40/60 (Neil Miller linen/Premium IV leather)
Überlather: Floris №89 Shave Creme + Floris №89 Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: NancyBoy Replenishing Facial Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Truefitt & Hill Spanish Leather AS
Results: Going back to basics today using my first straight ever purchased. She holds an amazing edge and delivers an even better shave. She can certainly hold her own in the company of such legends as the Filarmonica, W&B and Heljestrands. Smooth and BBS and from the looks of it, ready to get this Wednesday off to a great start.

    ******************************

    Have a FABULOUS Wednesday gentlemen.

Nice fair weather today, and there was enough light for a photo when I got in from work - whatever next?

Kent BK4; George Butler "Keen" 5/8; Nanny's lime soft soap; Tabac aftershave.

Neil Miller is the man responsible for this ivory scaled beauty, and it's a pleasure to use. I rate these highly: it's the second one to come my way.
