Strop: MickR's Kangaroo Hide
Brush: Comoy Badger
Soap: MWF
Razor: John Hassall 6/8 wedge
Astringent: Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel
A/S: Old Spice
I know nothing about the origin of this one, the tang reads John Hassall, 64 St Paul's Churchyard, but its a fantastic razor. It mowed down my 2 day growth with ease. I almost stopped after 1 pass but I didn't want to waste the MWF lather. 2 passes and a couple of touch-ups and I'm seriously BBS.
What a great shave.

Kikuboshi Special | Semogue 2010 LE #66 | Nanny's The Spicey One | Thayers Rose | Cade ASB | Xjeroff Modoc
First shave with the new formulation Nanny's Soap, courtesy of Mikael, and it worked quite well. It seemed to like a lot of water, and wasn't the most cushioned SC I've used, but it was super slick and left my skin smooth and moist. I'd say it's a keeper! Of course, the Japanese steel never disappoints, and this Kikuboshi is worth it's weight in gold. Two passes and I'm BBS!

Birthday Shave
AMAZING post everyone!!
I took a few days off after our shaving marathon last week.
I recieved the Calypso Shaving cream from Robert as a Bday present. Thank you very much. The scent is awesome. Im still working on the lather. It provided a great shave, but from what Robert told me, I believe the lather can give me more.
I havent used my Jungmeister in a while and was missing her. So glad i used her. Always delievers.

Happy Birthday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Rene .
Play around with the creme...it can definitely give you a lot more. Let me know EXACTLY what and how you are making the lather as that can make a BIG difference.
Al's formulation(s) need a bit of longer and aggressive whipping.
**Great posts everyone**
