    Monday morning

    I start my day with:
    soap: Calani
    brush: Muehle Silvertip
    razor: Pearson
    AS: Brut

The Pearson is a very good razor (restoration and rescaling by Buddel).

That's a great looking rescale by Buddel Tom...but if you like Buddel, you should see (and try) what Max can do

The camera will make a bigger difference than PS, imo. Better quality photos than cell phone. Is your sister a photographer or graphic artist?

I usually save this razor for 3-4 day beards, because its just great at mowing down that type of growth, but tonight I decided to give it a break from the heavy work and put it up against a simple 1 day beard.

Fabulous shot and razor Grant. I thought I would be alone in earmarking certain blades for certain kinds of growth (1 day, 2 day, etc...). Glad someone else has joined in the fray, LOL. Well done. BTW: HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Lilly.

Very nice shave today. Either the stropping or the shaving (or both) are coming on nicely.
Excellent hardware/software Oscar. In the future, may you have even better shaves than today.

Terrific shave all around...I feel good about the strides I've made with my straight razor technique to the point that I can consistently get shaves that rival my DE shaves. And today will be better than yesterday.
Great one indeed Nathan. Congrats. And may tomorrow be better than today

    Robert,
if the distance to Max would be the same as the distance to Gabor (70miles to Dresden) I would have a problem with my credit cards
But when we are the next time in California and Nevada...we'll speak a little bit German with Max!

Thank you Robert, it´s fun now and again to DE shave and this is a sweet shaver (a British Aristocrat no 15 and this one is the two best ones I´ve tried).

Max, I think not this year. You know we booked already an Israel-tour (may).
But maybe next year. And I bring with me all my credit cards!

Post Week of April 3 SOTD - Monday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: 23mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Razor: 13/16" Frederick Reynolds, Wedge, Barber's Notch (Red G10 - Maxterpiece)
Strop: 55/70 (Torolf linen/Premium IV leather)
Überlather: Cyril Salter "Indian Sandalwood" Shave Creme + QED "Sandalwood" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Irish Moos AS Splash
After Shave Creme: Sabon AS Creme (thank you Frank )
    Cologne: Creed "Tabarome" EdC
Results: A delightful shave this AM . The FR Maxterpiece is a hefty wedge with a keen edge. And the fabulous Sandalwood-based lather was one heck of a way to begin this shave. And to finish things off, I used the Sabon after shave creme that Frank sent me to moisturize and sooth my face...Simple, smooth and BBS.
