Thankyou to everyone for your thoughts and prayers for Jacky boy, it means SO much to us. We are back at home now, his temperature has returned to normal and the doctors have put it down to an unknown virus. Unfortunately his immune system has plummeted over the last 3 days, so we will have to pretty much keep him isolated at home for a while, but he is feeling better and full of spirit.

Matt (GreenlightJerky), hope your mother is doing better.

Amund, If your reading, you are in our thoughts constantly mate, Hope your OK.

After 3 days in hospital without shaving I was looking forward to this one. I selected the good old W&B for the job and it served me well. 2 passes was enough to satisfy me, not quite BBS but definitely a damn fine shave.
Thanks again for all the support gentlemen. you guys are awesome.

Good to hear that Jacky is ok. Me, I'm on day 16 of the first and obligatory treatment, in aplasia at the hospital but feeling fine. Up and about all the time, have even managed to do a 1 hour workout in the hospital gym every day Will probably have a break and be able to go home for a week or two next weekend.

Hang tough Amund. Working out is a great way to be strong.

    Default Little Henry

Razor: Henry Sears & Son 1865
    Shave Soap: Speick
AS: Witch Hazel followed by Colors AS (no, I wasn't wearing stonewashed jeans!)

Bought this little 4/8 Sears (nicknamed "Little Henry") a while back to see if I would like the smaller blades. Although she's a great shaver--and American Steel to boot; I've decided I don't like 4/8's due to the fact that I don't like stropping them and enjoy the heft of a little larger blade. Lesson learned!

That said, this was a great 2 pass shave, very sharp and smooth. Tried shaving with the off hand for the first time and did OK with it. Loved the Speick as always. The Colors AS stung like a hornet!
