Welcome to the brotherhood, and what a fine introduction you've made! Excellent shave and gorgeous scales on the blade!

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I look forward to shooting more SOTD photo's, I had a lot of fun playing around with different setups, but in the end decided to go with a simple "dry" setup. In the future I'll play around with some different types of lighting and layout. Here's to more great shaves!

The shavemac is a 26mm extra short loft version. This thing is my king of hard soaps!
But it handles cream great too.
Thanks brotha...I love that brush. Bernd certainly knows what he's doing.

    Bruce,
What a nice choice of gear and pre- and post-shave software. Love that brush handle and knot.

    Oscar,
I guess necessity is the mother of invention, eh? Nice improvisation on the strop front. Congrats on one of your best shaves ever. I like those kinds of surprises. Have a safe trip away from home buddy.

The Fluid Steel is everything I had hoped. That's all I'm going to say about that!
An excellent blade and shave. She looks incredibly nice. Congrats on this wonderful score. Great shot with the Morchella. Hopefully you didn't eat that thing raw, LOL...at least not before shaving, LOL
