Today is Graduation day. I awoke to emotions running through me like the day she was born. In preparing my things for today, yesterday afternoon I came to the realization that with all the "stuff" females need to travel, they don't think my shave gear needs to be one of them. No razor, no shave cream, no aftershave or cologne. Funny look from the wife which simply stated "OOOOOPS." ROFL
What could I do but adapt.
Warm shower (not hot like home)
Dial body wash with strawberry pieces rubbed into my whiskers ( I can only imagine what this goop costs)
Bic razor, 14 for $3.99.
Enjoy the day!!

Thanked: 1072Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fathope your all enjoying the weekend
Brush: FS Finest Badger
DE Razors: Gillette Tech, Unknown DE, Feather Blades
Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
Just a head shave tonight, test shaving a couple of my Pa's old DE's. It's cool to think that the last man to shave with these razors was my Grand father, who passed away around 20 years ago. Its a good thing my Dad is a hoarder. I recently acquired these 2 DE's, a Gem SE, 2 strops and an old spice shaving mug which all belonged to his Dad, and I also have a straight that belonged to my Mum's father. All found in my Dads garage.
A great head shave tonight with the Heirlooms.

I don't have any razors but I have a few things that were handed down through the generations of my family. To be able to use something my Great Grandfather used on a daily basis would be a wonderful.
Enjoy your new DE razors.
As far as the plastic shave is concerned: No biggie, today is a GOOD day.

Congrats on finding your ZEN honing.
Yes Bill want to show me how wonderful his razor is. LOL! No i was curious about the blade and am very impressed with the razor and Bill's honing. I forgot to mention the Md C was a sample from Bill. Wonderful soap.
Sorry to hear that it was left behind. So you will be a little scruffy for today or its a good excuse to buy some new stuff in FL. Hope you have a great day and celebration.
Your very lucky. I do have my Grandfather straight, which i need to hone. I really wish my dad had some. He used electric shavers. Enjoy them.Last edited by Maximilian; 05-14-2011 at 02:56 PM.
